Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion… The 2 female rappers that we thought could bring female rap back are now battling it out with diss tracks with bars from twitter, but honestly I am not shocked at all with this, and I dont believe anybody else expecting for Nicki to do Megan the way she did her. And while the barbs are eating it up, the GP is quickly throwing the song to the curb. But I am here to bring you guys my opinion and share some knowledge on the situation, because even I can admit this is very bizarre behavior coming from both parties. And it is such a shame because I favor both of their music…

Some people are saying Nicki Minaj is handling this situation poorly despite her being in the rap game for a longer amount of time. People are also saying that Megan deserved this because of the fact that she has been subbing Nicki for a long time and this was deserved, but I have a different opinion on all of this….

The H Town Hottie and The Barbie History

Now before this whole beef, Megan highly favored Nicki and even liked her music. They started their friendship with an instagram live where the 2 immediately bonded, and then Nicki hopped on a song with Megan that went semi viral. The song was really a cute hit for Megan and Nicki both… But then where it gets sour at is the fact that Megan did a song with Cardi B who is her arch nemesis when it comes to the rap game. I dont know where the beef originally stemmed from because we do not know the original fight behind the scenes, but one thing we do know is that both of them have been throwing shots at each other ever since they made their song together.

Some people are theorizing that Nicki got jealous of Megan collaborating with Cardi B, but my thing is that I dont believe thats true because if you are the QUEEN OF RAP, then why are you upset that somebody else is collaborating with your nemesis? As much as I can say I dont like neither female rapper, I have a feeling something bigger happened…

But that has nothing to do with me, at the end of the day I am not getting paid to write this, its just something that I come up with on my own time. I do think its weird that people were quick to say that Nicki hated Megan ever since she hopped on a song with Cardi B, I think something bigger had to have go on behind the scenes and i hope one of the rappers give us some closure about what in the hell happened behind the scenes. But Megan has been taking jabs at Nicki for a long time so it’s not like we did not see this coming a long time ago.

Megan Thee Stallion has taken a couple jabs at Nicki Minaj on her Something for the Hotties mixtape, she raps about one messy person that never got disclosed about how that one person never worked out… Now if you know about Nicki, then you know that this was the era where she was pregnant and was trolling about the extra weight she was gaining. But the one line that really had people thinking she was talking about nicki was when she said “Aint Nobody Come To See You Otis..” Now this could be a reference to how nobody is caring about Nicki’s career anymore and that she is becoming old, but I could be reaching too far.

But Nicki Minaj not backing down from a fight, clapped back at her with her song “Red Ruby The Sleeze” and she did it in a very creative way. “I don’t f**k with horses since Christopher Reeves”. Megan says that she is a stallion, and a horse is known as a stallion chii, yall get what I mean. But I wonder if Megan will have a rebrand soon, because it seems like she is throwing the horse persona away and going for a more snake like gig, and low-key i am here for all of it.

And then Megan threw some more shade towards Nicki calling her stiff, and saying that she does not know how to shake ass or dance.. and that she pops pills in her song Bongos with Cardi B.

But sadly, I dont think we will get any love from the 2 female rappers again, some people are saying Nicki was going on a coke rant when she went on Twitter and started saying a lot of vulgar stuff about Megan when she was not there. Everything from her fans doxxing people, to Nicki just downright talking trash on Megan’s whole career, believe me when I say its a mess.. A huge mess at that. Both women need to get their shit all the way together.

So What Is My Opinion

My opinion is… This is RAP, and its entertaining. Mind you it did not have to go to this magnitude, but when was the last time we had a real big female rap beef where they were throwing shots back and forth. Nicki and Cardi kinda came and went, but this beef is more like Foxy and Lil Kim, the story of Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj is similar to the new story of Meg and Nicki. The whole beef started because Nicki said she took the crown from Lil Kim, and this whole beef is going out of control because people are now saying that Megan is taking Nicki’s spot as the queen of rap… But I dont know how they can determine that because I dont think Megan has done half of what Nicki has done for female rap, she is the ultimate female rapper. But I don’t even think Nicki has done what Lil Kim has done for female rap. She was the one that implemented bad bitch rap, sex rap, and more things for female rap. So neither of them are the queen.

I do think Bigfoot is an absolute terrible song… It is the worst song that Nicki has released with some funny lyrics i cant lie. HISS was a whole moment for me… I had to spend every second disecting every lyric.. That Megan’s Law line had my earplug blowing up because of how clevar it was. She took a major jab at Nicki’s husband so I can see why Nicki would respond. It was a very poor response, but she said this is only the first song she is coming up with so I dont know what she has in the storage tank.. Finally we have some rap beef after YEARS!! And the thing is that this is going to be more memorable because both of these female are hurling bars at each other in the most incredible way.
