Ariana Grande released her highly anticipated comeback single on all streaming platforms, and the song is definitely one of the best songs that Ariana Grande has released. I love the fact that this is one of the first House songs she has done ever since Be Alright. I love Ariana’s new approach to music while she keeps her old style. Her artistry is really tested in this song because she produced, performed, and written the song by herself, she even showed Max Martin a few tips. One thing we always knew about Ariana Grande is that she is a top tier artist, but she is very underrated as an artist.

She really knew what she was going for when she made this song. The music video is excellent, and the song is just as excellent. This song is more like an empowering song, telling everybody to leave her alone and to not speak about things that they dont know about. However I do not think it was a great clap-back at everything that is happening to her recently. A lot of people lied on her and fueled a lot of hateful rumors about her and this is her response instead of debunking those rumors.

A lot of her fans are really going through this era because everybody has done nothing but lie on her name and its like she does not even care about her name being tarnished which is the only thing that I do not like about the song. I feel like she should have responded in a better way on her social media platforms. She has responded to everything in one Instagram story, but I feel like she was not really debunking it, rather telling everybody to not believe everything that they see on the internet, but that is besides the point. I feel like the song is a gem in her discography.

Giving the fact that she is trying something new with her sound, I dont think the era is going to get as much press as it should get, but at the same time I dont know. When you mix rumors like this, with a new sound of music, people can get tired quickly. And the hate for Ariana Grande has since fueled ever since the rumors were addressed to the public. And the more she continues to not speak out about these issues, the more that the people will fuel her hate for her until she has to make a real come-back to music like Mariah Carey had to come-back to music.

But the song is set to debut #1 on top of the Billboard Charts and I have to say with all of the versions, it has to hit the top spot or else it will not really be a good look for the song. But whether it hits the top of the charts or not, one cannot deny that the song can get anybody dancing. Some people did not like it when they first heard it, now its catchy and stuck in their heads, and for a good reason too. I know when I first heard the song I was bopping to it.
